The Yampa Valley Breast Cancer Awareness Project (YVBCAP) has donated a custom recliner for the chemo room at the Yampa Valley Medical Center, purchased eyeglasses for an uninsured patient, replaced the wheels on a patient wheelchair, purchased wigs, covered travel costs for women who had to go to Denver or Vail for treatment, made a COBRA payment for a women who lost her job during the course of treatment, covered outpatient biopsies and paid for over 250 mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women.
